Our institution, LANKA NURSING SCHOOL – KURUNEGALA is one of the major leading nursing schools in Sri Lanka which provides Nursing assistants, Care Givers etc. to Private Health Sector as well as the Foreign health demands. This Nursing School was started as King’s College of Nursing in the year of 2007 by Dr. Kamal Jayasinghe, Pediatrician Dr. Wijewardene and VOG Dr. Chandra Peiris which was the Director board at that time. In the year of 2011, the name of the school then changed to LANKA NURSING SCHOOL. In 2014 the School was owned by the director Mrs. W.M.C.T Bandara which is the current principal of the School. The current members of the director board are Mr. T.M.D.N.U Bandara & Mrs. W.M.C.T Bandara. Our institution is registered under Tertiary Vocational and Educational Commission(TVEC).Also certified with ISO. At present we conduct Nursing Assistant NVQLevel 3,4,5,6 and Care giver NVQLevel 3&4.
